We chose the domain as a neutral project address; its words point to no landscape or activity covered on these pages.

Our relationship with the hotel

Ownership, stated plainly. Estoril Sol SGPS, S.A. (operator of Casino Estoril) publishes rivercanyongroup.com. We do not own, manage or market Palácio Estoril Hotel; as far as we can establish it is independently owned, and it has not paid for, read or approved this page. We do, however, profit when people choose to spend time in Estoril, and the casino we run stands across the gardens from the hotel. That interest means this is not an independent review; weigh it with that in mind.

Our income and the Palácio

Palácio bookings are where that fee, when it exists, arises. It comes from a booking partner and only for reservations that began on our green button. Our second, less direct gain is simple: every extra visitor in Estoril helps the town where our main business sits. The hotel pays us nothing for coverage, and we would never claim the project is free of commercial motive.

Our sources are the hotel's official pages, Lisbon and Cascais tourism listings and published timetables from the coastal rail operator. A detail goes in only after a second source agrees with the first. If they clash or stay silent, the review sends you to reception with a specific question. There are no reader polls, grades or anonymous quotes anywhere on the site.
